NWA1100 has 4-in-1 design, featuring operation modes of Access Point, Repeater, Bridge and WiFi Client, so it provides superior flexibility for WLAN network deployment.  For example, WDS bridging functions could be applied to link remote sites together.  With multiple operation modes, it is an ideal solution for a variety of applications in vertical markets.

Flexible Deployment Provided by PoE

Power over Ethernet support makes it easier than ever for users to overcome installation problems by eliminating the needs of AC power adapters.  ZyXEL PoE switch models or other 802.3af standard-based PoE devices can supply power and transmit data to the Access Point through Cat-5 Ethernet cable, giving flexible installation options in hard-to-wire locations.

Suburb Coverage for Large-Scale Deployments

Business could take advantage of the freedom of high-speed networking without wires with this WIFI certified ZyXEL NWD1100 11b/g PoE Access Point.  The Access Point is also featuring high power 2.4GHz, 802.11b/g RF capability.  With high performance radio, WIFI coverage could be expanded and so less Access Points are required.

To shield wireless communication at the source, WPA2 with AES encryption provides the latest, toughest standards-based security, while WEP encryption supports legacy wireless clients. Numerous Options for Network Management
